Safety Implementation Begins at First Contact

At Deep South Crane Rentals, Inc., we work hard to ensure a safe work environment for our employees, clients, and vendors. Our in-house safety department are OSHA, MSHA, and EM-385 compliant and all employees are properly trained to complete every job in a safe and timely manner.

Project safety begins upon initial customer contact. Safety procedures are implemented at the beginning of each job and rigorously maintained throughout the rental process. Adherence to safety procedures includes:

Daily monitoring of safety standards
Providing high-quality equipment from top brand manufacturers
Proper selection of crane size
Lift planning and job site consultations
Proper and timely personnel training
Certification requirements met by all personnel
Continued performance & educational monitoring of all employees
Provision of NCCO & CIC certified riggers and CDL certified drivers

Nationally Certified Crane Operators

Deep South crane operators have obtained certification through the Crane Institute Certification. CIC is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies. Our crane operator certifications are administrated through the third party testing agencies. In addition Deep South Crane operators also possess NCCO.

OSHA Required Annual Crane Inspections

OSHA and ASME B30.5 require annual crane inspections. While this requirement can be achieved by any "qualified" person, Deep South Crane Rentals, Inc. goes beyond that basic requirement. All of our cranes are inspected annually by an independent 3rd party inspector. This means you, our customer, will have a safe, fully inspected and certified crane operated by a certified operator.
